Where has February gone?
What a blink and you miss it month, but we’ve had so much to love. Including the new issue of VIP Magazine which we can’t wait for you to see very soon.
Here’s what we’re loving this week…
Head of Commercial and Events Rebecca is loving…a dream blush

If you are a blush gal, then you are in for a treat.
Benefit Cosmetics has just launched two new cheek must-haves: Juice Stick and Play Daze.
Whether you love a glowy, dewy flush or prefer a soft matte finish, they’ve got you covered — and let’s be honest, we all need that extra lift for our complexion during these dark winter months. Juice Stick is a hydrating gel-cream that delivers a natural, fresh, juicy glow, while Play Daze offers a lightweight, soft-focus matte finish that blurs and perfects.
Available now.
Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…glass skin

I really adore the idea of glass skin, but it’s always easy to find products that create that effect of glowing, bouncy skin.
So imagine my surprise when I learned that bPerfect was coming out with a milky moisturiser that has become a staple in my AM and PM skincare. SKIN STUDIO’s Hydro Glaze Milky Essence is a lightweight, skin-conditioning formula designed to soothe, deeply hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier, creating the ultimate base for makeup while delivering serious skincare results.
This milky, fast-absorbing essence melts into the skin instantly, flooding it with hydration while smoothing texture and boosting radiance.
If you’re looking for something to give your face a glow without makeup in those busy moments, add this to your skincare routine ASAP. Find out more here.
Rebecca is loving…a flawless base

If you love a flawless makeup-ready base, then SOSU Cosmetics’ Good Prep skincare range may very well become your new go-to.
The collection is designed to smooth, hydrate and boost glow before foundation even goes on, so your makeup sits better and looks fresher all day. From cleansing away build-up to plumping and refreshing tired skin, Good Prep helps create the perfect canvas for whatever look you’re planning.

Bronwyn is loving…a delicious dinner

I’m fairly picky about my pizza. I know, what a silly thing to be picky over! But when a pizza is good, it’s really good…but when it’s bad…well…
So imagine my delight when I found out about Crosta Mollica which is a frozen pizza made with Neapolitan-style sourdough pizza. Honestly, I’m not going too far when I say this is probably one of the best frozen pizzas I’ve ever had.
Irish shoppers can choose from two of Crosta Mollica’s most popular frozen sourdough pizzas: the iconic Margherita and the flavour-packed Stromboli.
The range is now available in Dunnes.
Rebecca is loving…a playful scent

If you’re after a scent with a playful twist, Daisy Marc Jacobs Murakami is a must-try.
This special edition blends the classic, fresh floral charm of Daisy Marc Jacobs with Takashi Murakami’s cheerful, colourful artwork.
The result is a perfume that’s as joyful to look at as it is to wear — a perfect pick for Mother’s Day gifting or if you fancy treating yourself.
Bronwyn is loving…protected teeth

Did you know when the enamel on your teeth is gone, it’s gone for good?
Scary! But you can protect your enamel with toothpaste and regular dentist checkups.
Check out Sensodyne Pronamel which helps to lock in minerals to protect against the effects of acid wear from foods that we eat every day.
Head of Digital Jade is loving…Fabulous food

It’s been a while since I’ve had a meal that has been, from beginning to end, totally perfect. The food, the ambience, the service, the drinks – it can hard to come by a spot that has it all, and executes it all flawlessly.
The Unicorn is one of those spots. Located on Merrion Row and first opening in 1938, the Italian restaurant has a long history steeped in politics and culture. But I wasn’t there for nostalgia, I was there for the food – and The Unicorn delivered.
Myself and my partner started with the burrata and goats cheese bruschetta, and as big cheese fans, we were enthralled. But then came the main event – the fresh truffle and mushroom risotto. This may be the best risotto I have ever tasted. The depth, the earthiness, the fact that head chef Kristan came out to shave the truffle atop our dishes himself. Every bite was an indulgence.
We finished with a cheese board to share and a glass of bubbles, already planning our next visit.
If you’re hoping to head along some time soon, The Unicorn have just launched a special Mother’s Day menu, as well as a new pre-theatre and lunch menu. You can find out more here.
Bronwyn is loving…making Pilates accessible

Reformer Pilates has become the “It Girl” workout. But it can seem very daunting if you’ve never tried it before.
That’s where Flexera comes in, which was founded by Mayo woman, Hannah Joyce. This at-home workout, where you can buy or rent your own Reformer, makes it so easy to get in some exercise. You can take things at your own pace, especially with the app which has incredible instructors to help you through each class.
I was able to go to an in-person class this week to get a feel for Flexera and consider me converted.
