The Christmas countdown is well and truly on.
We have a lot of things to love ahead of the festive season well and truly kicking off.
So take a look at what we’re loving this week…
Staff Writer Anja is loving… haircare!

Looking for some last-minute Christmas presents? One product I’ve been absolutely loving this week is the JOICO Defy Damage set. It’s a brilliant option if your hair is feeling a little frazzled from frequent heat styling, as it really helps bring tired strands back to life.
The formula leaves hair feeling noticeably softer, stronger and so much healthier. I’ve even noticed my locks looking smoother and shinier after using heat tools, which is always a win at this time of year. Priced at €34.40, it makes a gorgeous gift for anyone who loves styling their hair but still wants to keep it in great condition.
All JOICO gift sets are available to purchase from salons and online.
Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…Irish talent
Hamnet is heading to the big screen in January. I was so honoured to get invited to the Irish premiere of the film attended by stars Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal.
Over the course of two hours, I bawled my eyes out as I watched the Maggie O’Farrell’s beautiful novel be adapted for the big screen.
The synopsis reads: “Impoverished Latin tutor William Shakespeare meets free-spirited Agnes, and the pair, captivated by one another, strike up a torrid affair that leads to marriage and three children.
“Yet as Will pursues a budding theater career in far-away London, Agnes anchors the domestic sphere alone. When tragedy strikes, the couple’s once-unshakable bond is tested, but their shared experience sets the stage for the creation of Shakespeare’s timeless masterpiece, Hamlet.”
My only regret? Not bringing enough tissues.
Hamnet hits cinemas on January 9th.
Bronwyn is loving…Christmas crunch

My personality is basically that I love Tayto!
They’re my favourite snacks in the whole entire world. So I have certainly stocked up on all the Taytos for Christmas, especially the festive boxes.
Have you got yours yet?
Bronwyn is loving…chocolate

Christmas means that we can indulge in all the things we love. And that means that we get to break open all the boxes of sweets.
And I mean, one thing that we can’t do without is a box of Quality Street.
With all the visitors coming and going, there’s nothing better than a massive box full of treats to let people tuck into as they chat.

While we all love a tipple at Christmas, there really isn’t anything better than a cold, crisp Coke this festive season.
Whether it’s in front of the fire on Christmas Eve or after Christmas dinner on the day itself.
I mean, it’s not Christmas without the iconic Coca-Cola truck!

Have I mentioned it’s silly season? We’re all out and about this time of year. And we need to look good.
My hair is probably my biggest enemy. I just never know what to do with it. But thankfully, I know it’ll always look good with a LanaiBLO hairdryer.
With a 2400 Watt professional-grade motor, variable speed and heat settings, and innovative technology to suit every hair type, LanaiBLO delivers a salon-quality finish at home, every time.

Bronwyn is loving…addictive TV coming to Ireland
If you’ve scrolled through social media recently you may have seen mentions of the show, Heated Rivalry.
Unfortunately the steamy hockey show isn’t streaming anywhere in Ireland. So imagine my delight when I found out it was coming to Sky and streaming service NOW from 10th January.
“Heated Rivalry chronicles the story of rival hockey players Shane and Ilya. Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) are two of the biggest stars in Major League Hockey, bound by ambition, rivalry, and a magnetic pull neither of them fully understands. What begins as a secret fling between two fresh-faced rookies evolves into a years-long journey of love, denial, and self-discovery,” the synopsis reads.
“Over the next eight years, the pair chase glory on the ice while struggling to navigate their feelings off it. Torn between the sport they live for and the love they can’t ignore, Shane and Ilya must decide if there is room in their fiercely competitive world for something as fragile and as powerful as real love.”
I’m obsessed already!
