If you do one Santa experience this year, you have to check out Luggwoods!

Lapland at Luggwoods Enchanted Forest, set in the Dublin Mountains, is truly an unforgettable experience for young and old. Visitors enter through snow-dusted forest trails, where twinkling lights take you on a magical journey through the enchanted woods as you meet some of Santa’s helpers along the way, who are busy preparing for Christmas. Then it is time to climb aboard the all-new Luggwoods Express Train, which transports passengers to the new Santa Claus Village while showing fantastic views of Dublin City.

Luggwoods celebrate its 10th birthday this year and have pulled out all the stops to ensure you and your little ones start the festive season off with memories that will last a lifetime.

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…Irish history tours

I’m a bit of a history nerd…and when I saw a bit I mean a lot!

So when I heard that a new museum about world-renowned Irish explorer Ernest Shackleton was opening in Athy, Co Kildare, I jumped at the chance to go! My family and were able to visit and learn all about the man who led three expeditions to the Antarctic.

The new exhibit features the actual cabin in which Ernest Shackleton died of a heart attack on the ship ‘Quest’ during the Shackleton-Rowett Expedition in 1922

The sledge and harness used on the Nimrod Expedition as well as replica models of the Endurance and Quest ships as well as the James Caird lifeboat that rescued the crew after the Endurance shipwreck.

It is a deeply immersive experience that allows visitors join the crew of the Endurance as they make their remarkable escape from the ice-bound ship, with crashing waves and wind effects making the journey feel as real as possible.

Staff Writer Anja is loving… cosy socks!

I’m not normally one to rave about socks, but oh my, the Striped Plush Lounge Sock from Cozy Earth is pure luxe. They’re unbelievably soft, warm yet never bulky, and the three festive patterns practically guarantee an instant boost of holiday joy.

Tis the season to be jolly, after all, and these plush socks make it easy to put your best (and cosiest) foot forward every single day. Whether you’re curled up on the couch with a mug of something warm or staying snug while running errands, they’re the perfect dose of comfort. Perfect for gifting… or keeping for yourself

Plus, they’re currently on sale at cozyearth.com. What more could you ask for?

Bronwyn is loving…Christmas markets with a twist

Looking for something to do this weekend? Well, worry not because I have the perfect way to kick off the festive season.

Taking place from Thursday, 27th to Sunday, 30th November, Armagh City will transform into a Georgian Festival and travel back in time.

Over the course of four days, the city will celebrate its rich Georgian heritage through immersive history, live performances, artisan markets, music, family entertainment and atmospheric lightshows across some of the city’s most iconic Georgian sites, from the Archbishop’s Palace to No. 5 Vicars’ Hill.

Visitors are invited to step back more than 250 years ago and experience Christmas as it might have been in the time of Archbishop Richard Robinson, the visionary who shaped much of the city’s Georgian character.

There’s plenty on, you can find out more here.

Rebecca is loving…getting a good night’s sleep

I think I have finally found the perfect sleep mask, and trust me, I have tried out a lot!!

For anyone else who needs complete darkness to get a good night’s sleep,  you need to check out Drowsy’s Deep Sleep Collection.

I have been using their silk mask for the last few weeks, and it literally blocks out everything & helps combat undereye puffiness! It comes in the cutest gift sets, which are now on sale for Black Friday here.

Bronwyn is loving…a musical treat

Moulin Rouge is my favourite film. I’ve been wanting to see the stage show for years, so I was delighted to hear it was coming to the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre this festive season.

And I was not disappointed with the spectacular show!

The dancing, the songs (old and new), the costumes and the sets! Honestly I couldn’t recommend this one more! The show runs until January 11th.
