There’s nothing better than new music! Especially when it’s Irish.
I was delighted to hear Nell Mescal was releasing an EP which dropped this week.
Her EP The Closest We’ll Get is led by the poignant single Middle Man. This is her second EP following her 2024 debut, Can I Miss It For a Minute?
“The Closest We’ll Get is a collection of songs that tell a story about two people and how their relationship is in the grey area of friends or lovers” explains Nell. “Each song is a realisation of how sitting in the in-between affected me and in turn affected the ‘friendship.’”
