We’re not really sure what the weather is doing this week.
But we’re still keeping our spirits high!
Take a look at what we’re loving this week…
…yummy kefir water
We’ve all heard of kefir, the drink that helps your gut health. Usually it’s some sort of dairy base but that’s not for everyone.
Thankfully, a new Irish brand helpfully entitled NI, is here to give your gut a boost and help your energy levels.
NU is Ireland’s first ready-to-drink energy infusion made with guayusa – an antioxidant-rich leaf from the Ecuadorian rainforest known for delivering smooth, jitter-free energy, improved focus, and feel-good mood support.
Fresh off the announcement that NU has joined the prestigious 2025 SuperValu Food Academy, the buzz around this Irish-born brand is growing fast. Co-Founders Conor Meehan and Fionn Murphy, backed by water kefir-brewing wizard Gerry Scullion, are on a mission to turn centuries-old wisdom into a clean, modern, and meaningful alternative to conventional energy drinks.

…sleek hair
The slicked-back bun is not going anywhere and if you’re like me then you know just how annoying it is to have your hair falling out, into your face at the most annoying points.
The Irish ladies are always on hand to help us out and I’m a huge fan of The Smooth Company.
Molly Mae Hague and Alix Earle have also given The Smooth Stick their seal of approval and if it’s good enough for them, it’s definitely good enough for me!
And it’s about the launch in The Netherlands as well. I’m so excited for the whole team.

…a glowing tan
Look, I am the palest person on planet earth….I am also usually covered in bruises.
But summer is here and that means that I have weddings and birthdays and trips away galore. And I need to look some way decent.
I’ve fallen in love with tanning brand, Vita Liberata which has traditional tan as well as gradual tanning moisturisers, concealing body makeup and even CC cream.
And the best part is that it’s all available on Irish beauty brand, Cloud 10 Beauty. As a proud Monaghan woman I’m always here to champion brands from my back garden. I mean, I can walk to Cloud 10 Beauty from my house! It makes deliveries really easy!

…getting in that protein

Look, we all know at this point that we are not getting enough protein. But how many eggs can we cook realistically?
I love to start my day with a yoghurt and I am aware that there is just not enough of anything in most of them.
Muller and MyProtein have teamed up for a new range of products that I’m simply in love with – who doesn’t love a Muller Corner.
From shakes to delicious yoghurts, you can enjoy yourself while knowing that you’re getting your protein in!

…healthy hair
I’ve been bleaching my hair for years and only recently stopped. So it’s safe to say that my hair is in bits!
I’m always on the hunt for something to give my hair a boost and I’m loving trying out the new range from OGX.
Rescue Fusions has been created by celebrity hairstylist Michael Douglas and it’s all about putting the goodness back into your hair.
This collection is designed to strengthen, nourish, and protect hair that’s been stressed by heat styling, chemical treatments, or environmental damage – all without weighing it down.

…gentle skincare
Did you know that you can’t use certain skincare products when you’re pregnant? Because I certainly didn’t!
So you can imagine my surprise when I was invited to check out a brand new Irish company, SKN TO SKN, which is all about skincare for pregnant people and breastfeeding mothers.
Of course, you can use these products when you’re not pregnant – like me. In fact, the idea is that these products are for every stage of your life. You have your range and you don’t have to be worrying about switching your skincare if you choose to start a family.
Founder Sara Stokes used her own experience being pregnant to create the brand and it’s launching this summer.

…Rosé Day
This Saturday is National Rosé Day. Yes, you read that right as if I need any excuse to enjoy a gorgeous glass in the garden this summer.
And Lidl is on hand with a gorgeous selection of wines.
Whether you’re planning a summer gathering or seeking the perfect accompaniment to a sunny afternoon al-fresco, Lidl’s curated rosé collection offers something for every palate, starting from just €7.99.
Leading the collection is Lidl’s Pinot Grigio Blush (€7.99), which outperformed a premium competitor in a recent blind taste test with Irish consumers.
Over half (54%) of participants preferred the Lidl option, highlighting that exceptional taste doesn’t have to come with a luxury price tag. The results, first unveiled during Lidl’s Vino Sensoria event, reaffirm the leading retailer’s commitment to delivering quality wines at everyday prices.
