Okay, I might be a bit late to the party, but I finally caught Babygirl in the cinema this week, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Despite the mixed reviews, I went in with pretty much zero expectations and ended up pleasantly surprised.
If you’re having trouble connecting with the film, my advice is to just take it for what it is — don’t overthink it. Essentially, there’s not much to the story other than Nicole Kidman having an affair with a young Harris Dickinson. But sometimes, that simplicity is what makes it intriguing.
So, if you’re looking for something a little different, why not grab your gal pals, buy some popcorn and enjoy this slightly erotic thriller? I know I did!
