The VIP List: Here’s what we’re loving this week

Pic: Helen Murray

Can we talk about this week without talking about Taylor Swift?

Honestly, we don’t think so.

But it’s not just Taylor that we’re obsessed with, here’s everything we’re loving this week…

Head of Commercial and Events Rebecca is loving…a pedi

If there is ever a time to put your best foot forward, it is during the summer months.

I love nothing more than a pedi or an at home foot pamper session, particularly after a long winter of keeping my feet under wraps. So I am loving Scholl’s new expert care range, especially their electric foot file and their hydration boost foot cream.

Available in pharmacies nationwide.

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…a Taylor-made design

It’s not secret that I am VIP’s resident Swiftie. I apologise to my colleagues for the state I have been in this week.

But I may calm myself down by taking up knitting. But only if it’s Taylor related!

Fáilte Ireland has teamed up with young Irish designer, Gabrielle Malone, to create a one-of-a-kind hand-knitted cardigan which beautifully represents some of the locations in Ireland that Taylor has visited, as well as some Easter Eggs, making it truly Taylored – just for her!

This special cardigan will be delivered to Taylor ahead of the gigs. We can’t wait to see her wearing it!

Fáilte Ireland has made the pattern for the Taylor Cardigan available on the Discover Ireland website, where fans can try their hand at recreating their own version of the cardi!

And if you want to take a Taylor Swift-inspired trip around Ireland they have curated a list of her favourite spots here.

Staff Writer Anja is loving…2:22 A Ghost Story

I have been a fan of 2:22 A Ghost Story for quite some time now, so when I found out that the show was coming to Dublin I knew I had to go. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.  The play features a stellar cast including Shona McGarty who you might recognise from EastEnders, Jay McGuiness aka former member of The Wanted, Irish actor Colin O’Donoghue who has starred in the likes of Once Upon A Time and The Tudors and finally our very own Laura Whitmore.
The story itself follows Jenny (Shona) who believes her new home is haunted, but her husband Sam (Colin) – who always has an answer for everything – isn’t having any of it. They soon invite old friend Lauren (Laura) and her new partner Ben (Jay) over for dinner before Jenny comes clean about what she’s been experiencing in the house at exactly 2.22 am each night.
There are plenty of shocks and twists to keep you hooked, not to mention jump-out-of-your-seat moments. But what ties it all together is the incredibly funny script and well-delivered jokes. So, if you haven’t already bought your ticket, I highly recommend you do!
A Ghost Story 2:22 runs at the 3Olympia until 11 August 2024. For more information or to book see here.

Head of Commercial and Events Rebecca is loving…a lovely scent

I love nothing more than a gorge candle or home diffuser and at the moment, I am particularly loving Irish brand, Sómas.

The brand have just launched a new spring fragrance range with the essence of fresh blooms and coastal breezes, bringing the freshness of the outdoors inside for the season ahead.

My faves have to be the Bay Leaf & Bergamot and Driftwood and Sea Salt. For more info www.somasstudio.com

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…summer fashion

The summer is here. And while the weather doesn’t know what it’s doing, I am manifesting sun.

And with this sun that lives in my head comes cute summer ‘fits!

Love Island winner Molly Smith has once again reunited with Boohoo for her latest collection. And it’s just perfect for summer.

The edit features 31 products, sizes available in each piece range from size 6-16. Prices start at €17 to and will be available to shop from 6pm on Thursday 27th June here.

Head of Commercial and Events Rebecca is loving…a gift voucher

Sometimes it’s tough to know what to get someone. And to that I say you can’t go wrong with a solid gift voucher.

I am particularly partial to a One4All voucher. It does exactly what it does on the tin – it’s a voucher that can be used in so many different places around the country. It’s a win-win.

And as school’s finish up, One4All is thinking about teachers. The You Teacher campaign celebrates the positive and encouraging role that teachers play in our career choices. For more information or to purchase a Thank You Teacher Gift Card, visit www.one4all.ie

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…a good film

I love going to the cinema. And this summer we have an influx of great movies.

I was first in line to see Kinds of Kindness this week because I just knew that I would absolutely adore it.

Spoiler alert – I did! Is it weird? Of course it is! But is it amazing? Oh 100%

Kinds of Kindness is in cinemas now.
