Christine Lampard welcomed her first child with football manager Frank last week.
The tv presenter took to Instagram to share a beautiful photo of the special day.
“Let us introduce you to our little girl. Patricia Charlotte Lampard! We’re so in love,” both Christine and Frank wrote on social media.
Many fans and followers commented on the name choice, praising them for choosing a ‘traditional’ and ‘normal’ name, as many celebrities are known for picking quirky and lesser known names.
“Congratulations, nice to see some sensible names being chosen,” one person said.
“It’s so refreshing to hear your little girl has a normal beautiful name xx congratulations” another added.
A third added: “Aww congratulations – finally a celebrity baby with a normal name – gorgeous all of you xx”
However, the meaning behind the name actually holds a strong significance.
The little girl is named after Frank’s mother Pat, who passed away in 2008 aged just 58.
The gesture received huge praise from followers on Instagram.
“Gorgeous name ..gorgeous thought …after her late nanny…bless you all xxxxx” one person said.

This is 39 year old Christine’s first baby, Frank has two other children, Luna and Isla, making baby Patricia the third girl in the family.
