Bruce Springsteen took to the stage for his first show in Croke Park last night and performed to over 80,00 fans – including some Irish stars!
The stars turned out in their droves for the highly anticipated event and the ‘Boss’ certainly didn’t disappoint!
Holly Carpenter took to Instagram to show a snap of guitar sunglasses from the gig and after the show she took to Instagram once more to quote a Bruce Spingsteen classic,”If you miss me, I’ll be there To brush the sunlight from your hair. I’ll be there to guide you when trouble walks beside you. If you need me I’ll be there And when this dirty world has been cold to you I got two strong arms waitin’ to hold you. And when those mean days come along We’ll stand together and we’ll take ’em on”
Marty Whelan was also one of the lucky attendees at the gig and his idol certainly lived up to his expectations, Marty Tweeted “Darkness on the edge of town begins a great night #BruceSpringsteen”
Marty Morrissey was also in attendance and loved every minute of the show, tweeting “Croke Park looks fantastic on the night Bruce Springsteen comes to town ! Born in USA but you can’t beat Ireland.”
And we’ve saved the best for last – our very own Taoiseach was spotted rocking out at the event! Enda Kenny was seen having the time of his life last night and was even caught on camera performing air guitar!
Who knew Enda had it in him?!
