Love is certainly in the air this month.
As The Scripts’s Danny O’Donoghue is the latest celebrity to officially pop the question to his long-term girlfriend Anais Naing.
The pair, who have been together for the past four years jetted off to Norway for a trip to remember which resulted in Danny getting down on one knee at the edge of a world-famous mountain with a beautiful lake in the background to ask Anais for her hand in marriage.
Speaking to The Sun, the singer revealed: “We hiked up to the top of a mountain to face the most beautiful waterfall in the world, The Seven Sisters. It’s our favourite place on earth.
“I nearly passed out from exhaustion carrying up all the champagne, glasses and food for if she said yes.
“I had to do it all without her knowing,” he added.
Thankfully, it was all worthwhile as of course, Anais said yes and the couple couldn’t be happier.

Danny and Anais first met during Covid, which Danny admitted really solidified their relationship.
“If you’ve been with anybody through Covid it’s like you compress ten years into those years,” he shared with the publication.
And just like that, Danny knew from the get-go that Anais was the one.
“When you know, you know… I knew when it wasn’t right, but now I know whatever that is, that it’s 100 per cent right.”
