Huge congratulations are in order for Peter Stringer and Debbie O’Leary who got married this afternoon in sunny Malaga, Spain surrounded by family and friends.
The guest attire was in sync with the paired back ceremony with the happy couple asking everyone to dress smart-casual. Speaking about the impending big day, the rugby star explained the choice:
“We’re going to be smart casual as it’ll be quite hot. Suits with open collars. Whatever the guys are comfortable in.”
Hopefully the camera-shy Peter will have escaped much of the spotlight today as all eyes turned to Debbie who looked stunning in her wedding dress. In an interview with RTE Radio One, he spoke of his concerns for the day:
“I’m going to deflect a lot of it on to Debbie – it’s all about her, I’ll try fade into the background as much as I can,” he admitted.
“Knowing Debbie, she won’t put me under any pressure as I don’t like being the centre of attention.”
He continued by saying: “Debbie looks amazing no matter what, I can’t wait to see her.”
