TV3 have made the decision not to air the final six episodes in the season of Blind Date, according to The Irish Mail on Sunday.
The show, hosted by Al Porter, will not be shown as a result of the numerous allegations against the comedian regarding inappropriate conduct.
“It’s an absolute disaster for TV3,” a source told the publication.
“They spent a fortune on Blind Date, buying the format, the production, the promotion, not to mention Al’s salary. But they are left with no option.
“The remaining six will never see the light of day. It’s just an absolute disaster all round.”
Al recently resigned from hosting The Al Porter Show on Today FM and stepped down from his leading role in the Christmas Panto.
