Could the 2 Johnnies be leaving Irish shores?
The pair have a successful radio show on 2FM as well as fronting their own podcast and recently hosting a TV series that saw them travel around America.
But it looks like that travel bug is infectious.
Reports claim that the pair may be looking to bring their radio show to the UK!
Johnny B and Johnny Smacks have apparently been “in talks” with radio bosses to bring their brand global!
“Bosses are in talks with the 2 Johnnies about a big money move to UK radio,” a source revealed to The Mirror.
It seems as though the pair would be hosting a weekend show that would go out across the UK.
RTÉ had no comment on the matter when VIP Magazine reached out to them.
For this month’s magazine, we caught up with Johnny Smacks who revealed that he was super grateful for his life right now.
“I am thankful for being able to call what we do and job and to work with my best friend. Also thankful for having a good missus at home who puts up with me and for having a strong family, my mother and my sister are great. We have a tight little unit and a great group of friends – myself and Johnny B – who always keep our feet on the ground,” he shared.
Before revealing his plans for the future: “To be happy and able to do what we do every day, have the craic and make people laugh. If we can brighten peoples’ day up that’s the most important thing to us, we just want to make the people happy!”
