The 2 Johnnies have hung up their microphones.
They left their 2FM show at the end of May after two years on air.
VIP Magazine caught up with the two lads ahead of their summer filled with touring to find out what’s next for them.
But don’t worry, they won’t be resting on their laurels.
Speaking about their decision to leave the broadcaster, Johnny Smacks admits: “Walking away from anything isn’t easy, but it felt it was the right time. We have so much work on that we’re looking forward to getting stuck into.”
They’re known for being messers. But they are very serious about how thankful they are for the opportunity to be able to broadcast five days a week to the nation.
Reflecting on their time, Johnny Smacks confesses: “[We’re] grateful for having worked there, and for making a show we’re proud of. We made great friends for life. Now we’re excited for the next chapter.”
The lads have plenty of plans for the next few months, we’re exhausted just thinking of it all.
So what’s next?
“Looking forward to getting our life back now that we’re not on the radio,” Johnny B says.
