Congratulations are in order for RTÉ’s Valerie Wheeler.
The Sunday Game presenter jetted off to New York with her partner, Gavin Young, to shake off the January Blues.
However, it was much more glamorous than just a trip to the Big Apple.
Gavin got down on one knee to pop the question to his presenter partner.

She was overjoyed as she shared a selfie of the pair together, at the top of the Rockefeller Centre.
“Some good news to share,” she wrote alongside a snap of them together. On Instagram, she shared the same picture with the caption: “A rock on top of the rock. 03-01-2024.”
Valerie and Gavin have been an item since the summer of 2022.
Gavin works as a pro-golf coach in Limerick while Valerie is known for The Sunday Game as well as her SPIN South West show.
