There was a feast of fashion yesterday at the Marker Hotel as tv star Amanda Byram flew into Dublin to launch the 2015 Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.
Amanda looked stunning in a monochrome ensemble as she initiated the event which takes place at the Curragh Racecourse in Co. Kildare on June 27. This year marks the 150th running of Ireland’s most iconic race and will showcase the world’s top horses and jockeys along with the finest millinery and fashion.
The Total Wipeout host is the official style ambassador for the 2015 festival and will form part of the judging panel to seek out the most stylish lady on Derby Day at The Curragh racecourse. The winner will walk away with the holiday of a lifetime to Dubai, among other luxurious gifts.
Amanda wasn’t the only stylish lady who turned out yesterday evening – models Madeline Mulqueen and Aoife Walsh and their stylist BFF Laura Mullett said they were channelling their inner Disney Princesses with some glitzy headpieces.
Madeline informed her Instagram followers that both Aoife and her roommate Laura’s headpieces are from Zero One Hair & Beauty Salon, while she got her leaf-designed piece from Claire’s Accessories.
We also loved the fiancee of A-list actor Jack Reynor’s cute dress, which she nabbed in Topshop.
Looking fab as ever was fellow Limerick lady Celia Holman Lee, who joined Madeline for a snap and showed off her classic LBD, pearls and stand-out headpiece.
The Curragh Racecourse has introduced a specially priced ticket of €25 when booked before 24th June. For those who want to avail of transport from Dublin, the Curragh have made it easy with return luxury coaches from Dublin right to the track for an additional €10 – when booked before 24th June at www.curragh.ie.
