This week, we’re chatting to style influencer and salon owner, Sabrina Hill.
What is your most worn piece of clothing?
Jeans, I basically live in my Ivy jeans from Marks and Spencer. I wear them to work, casual or even on a night out!
The most sentimental piece in your wardrobe?
I bought an Alexander McQueen little black dress in a mad rush one year as I found out I was going to an event last minute. The event was in Tuscany in a castle and I’ll never forget the fun I had that night.
You have 5 minutes to get ready for a night out. What is your go-to outfit?
Black jeans, silk blouse, layered gold jewellery and a pair of sky high Jimmy Choos.
What are the staple pieces you think should be in everyone’s wardrobe?
I’m all about accessories being a staple, good belts, sunglasses and a classic hand bag. I think having these staples can change the entire look of an outfit and add so much style. Also a great leather jacket!
Your staple pieces for a holiday wardrobe?
Leather sandals, loose vests, denim shorts and a gorge beach bag. I’m all about casual on holidays, throw on a bright red lip gloss, highlighter on the cheeks and slick back hair for a night time look wearing the same outfit.
I never bring heels on holidays.
Your biggest investment buy?
Handbags, they always fit. My fave being my Celine.
Are there any outfits/trends you regret wearing?
Ponchos….why!?
Your favourite brand to shop with?
Marks & Spencer’s is one of my faves brands. I also adore supporting local boutiques who stock amazing brands. Samui, Seagreen, Pure Boutique, Amari, Verso and Les Jumelles are amazing Irish boutiques that I love.
The best style advice you’ve ever received?
Wear necklaces that are different weights so they don’t tangle. Game changer!
What outfit makes you feel the most comfortable?
Marks and Spencer Ivy jeans, Zadig Voltaire cashmere jumper and Golden Goose Deluxe midi trainers. Keeping it casual with a little bit of luxury.
What is your next buy/what are you lusting after?
Jimmy Choo Love shoes in black suede, they are classics or a Loewe bag.
Is there a particular piece of jewellery that you wear all the time?
Mary K jewellery star necklace. My friend Josephine who sadly passed away and I both had the same necklace so it’s very sentimental.
Who is your biggest style icon?
Olivia Palermo, always gets it right.
What has been your best lockdown purchase?
Sorel hiking boots!
