Kathryn Thomas made another style statement on this week’s episode of Operation Transformation – it’s only right we give you the details so you can make your own statement in this acid green dress.
As we inch into the beginning of Spring and that promise of warmer weather, Kathryn graced us with a comfortable yet chic green dress perfectly styled with over-the-knee black suede boots and small gold hoop earrings.
The Operation Transformation host was dressed by stylist extrordinaire Clementine MacNeice.
Kathryn took to her Instagram to share the details of this week’s look – it’s time to get shopping!
She captioned the post: “And just like that, we’ve only 1 programme left. How amazing have all our @rteoperationtransformation leaders been. Total legends”.
The RTÉ presenter wore a ribbed acid green midi dress, €79 from Selected Femme along with a pair of suede knee-high boots, €149 from Mantra Official and small gold hoop earrings and €18 from Betty and Biddy.
If bright green wouldn’t be your colour of choice Selected Femme also offer the piece in black, for those of us in love with a little black ensemble.
The dress, which was picked up in Arnott’s, comes with a plaited belt of the same shade to help cinch your waist and give you your shape back.
Belts like this that share the shade of the dress are the most flattering because you’re adding shape without breaking your proportions up with a new colour.
Midi dresses are best worn with knee-high boots that leave no gap between them and the bottom of the dress helping to elongate your frame, and making you appear taller.
The great thing about this look is it can be dressed up or dressed down and can be worn in Winter and Summer, just switch out boots and a coat for sandals and sunglasses and you’re well on your way to stealing her style.
