Stage times, security and transport: Everything you need to know about the Spice Girls gig in Croke Park

It’s been a long time coming, but the wait is almost over. Yes, the hotly anticipated Spice Girls gig is just around the corner, we couldn’t be more excited.

Ahead of the sold-out show, which takes place Friday May 24th in Croke Park, event organisers have shared some tips and advice to ensure the gig goes off without a hitch.

Stage Times

Doors: 6pm
Jess Glynne: 7pm
Spice Girls: 8.15pm.

Fans have been asked not to queue before the show, and can be turned away from the venue if they do otherwise.

Security

Strict security measures will be in operation for the event. Concert-goers have been asked not to bring backpacks or large handbags (bigger than A4 in size) to the show – and must be aware that there are no storage facilities in the venue. Other prohibited items include: umbrellas, alcohol, selfie sticks, professional cameras, iPads or GoPros. For more see mcd.ie.

Age Restrictions
• Under 14’s are NOT allowed on the pitch either accompanied or unaccompanied.
• All Under 16’s attending the concert MUST be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.
• Guardians must remain with under 16’s and take full responsibility for them throughout the event.

Transport
Due to the volumes of people travelling to the event, it is encouraged to avail of public transport and to factor in additional travel time due to traffic in the area.

Approach Routes
Croke park is bordered by Clonliffe road, Ballybough road  and North Circular road
Hogan stand via Jones road and Russell street – Blue route
Cusack stand via St James avenue and Foster terrace – Red route
Davin stand via St Margaret’s terrace – Yellow route
Pitch A via Josephs avenue – Green route
Pitch B, Pitch C & Gold Circle Via St James avenue and Foster Terrace – Red route.
