Well-known faces, including Special Olympic athletes, stepped out for a special screening of Champions.
Guests in attendance included Special Olympics athletes from clubs and services who attend weekly training run by volunteers.
Matt English, CEO Special Olympics Ireland said: “As an organisation that uses sport to change lives, we love the message behind Champions. This year marks 20 years since the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games came to Ireland.
“Seeing athletes represented on screen as individuals who live enriching lives; who work, study and train like everyone else is proof of how much society’s perception has changed over time. It’s our mission to keep spreading this message, week in, and week out in communities across Ireland.”
Champions is in cinemas from March 10th
