Check out our gallery of pics from the recent #LidlOktoberfest event which was attended by well-known faces from tv and entertainment to launch the Alpengut range of food in Lidl stores.
Guests on the night turned out to a special erected tent on Temple Bars Meeting House square and included UTV News Anchor Alison Comyn, RTE weather girl Nuala Carey, Tv3’s Peter O Riordan and wife Stephanie, Siobhan O Connor and Sonya Mohlich.
Attendees were treated to the best of traditional German food, including delicious Bretzels, cheeses and sausages as well as giant mugs of beer, and those with a sweet tooth could check out the pick’n’mix cart in the outside garden – complete with gingerbread cookies!
As if the atmosphere wasn’t German enough with the food and drink, the original Bergvagabuden band flew over to perform some traditional music – and of course donned some Lederhosen for the evening!
