Socialising outdoors is so much more enjoyable now that the sun is shining. It’s looking like we have another beautiful weekend ahead of us, so whether you’re dining al fresco, hosting a BBQ or relaxing in your back garden, a gorgeous drink is exactly what’s needed.

If you fancy trying something new, there are lots of delicious options available at the moment, from new flavours to low alcohol, or even no alcohol we have you covered with lots of ideas below!

Gordon’s Gin have a new offering if you fancy a twist on your usual G&T. Their latest is their Mediterranean Orange, ideal for savouring on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

This zesty spirit is served best in a large glass with lots of ice, tonic water, and of course a big wedge of orange to garnish.

If iced coffee is your daytime summer drink of choice, then why not try a boozy version? Jameson’s latest offering is their Cold Brew Whiskey which is exactly what you’d think, all the delicious flavours of coffee and their signature whiskey blended together.

There are so many different ways to drinks this, you could make iced Irish coffees, make it into a cocktails or even just serve simply with cola and ice.

If you want all the hassle taken out of making a gorgeous summer drink, then look no further than than Smirnoff’s Seltzers.

A mix of sparkling water, flavourings and vodka, their latest flavour, mango and passionfruit, is perfect for summer.

Serve in a fancy glass with ice and some berries to garnish, or you can skip all the fuss and drink with a straw straight from the can- just don’t forget to chill them first!

Again, if you’re bored of a classic G&T, then why not try a Gin Smash? Although cocktails can be a bit of a faff, this one from Dingle Gin is super easy to put together.

Simply use 50ml of gin, 15ml of sugar syrup, a handful of mint leaves, and of course lots of ice. Muddle or smash (as the name suggests) in a glass for the perfect, refreshing summer tipple.

If you fancy something without the alcohol content then we would suggest trying something from Lyre’s Spirit Co. Their ethos is that choosing not to drink doesn’t mean you have to be stuck with a boring orange juice, and they offer lots of delicious alcohol free substitutes.

Our personal favourite is the Italian Spritz, which looks (and tastes) very similar to a popular summer drink we all reach for at this time of year. Pair with some club soda, and their alcohol free prosecco and top with ice. Trust us, you wouldn’t even notice the difference.
