Sinead O’Connor’s home in Bray has sold for more than €50k over the asking price.
Montebello, the beautiful seafront home has been Sinead’s home since 2007. When the star began to spend more time in America she decided to sell the home, however a sale wasn’t agreed until this year.
With the home going back on the market in 2021 for €950,000 a source told The Sun the buyer paid a lot more than this asking price.
According to the source, “It’s gone for well over the asking price. I can’t reveal the exact figure but certainly well over a million euro.”
The singer warned fans not to go to the house viewings just to pry and try get a glimpse of her belongings saying, “All of my stuff has been moved out of Bray so you are wasting your time going if you wanna see me knickers”.
The home has six bedrooms, kitchen, breakfast room, living room, drawing room, utility room, pantry, lounge room and four bathrooms. As well as a garden at the back of the house.

The Irish singer recently announced she is retiring from music in a tweet, cancelling all scheduled tour dates.
The singer wrote:
“This is to announce my retirement from touring and from working in the record business. I’ve gotten older and I’m tired. So it’s time for me to hang up my nipple tassels, having truly given my all. NVDA in 2022 will be my last release. And there’ll be no more touring or promo.”
Sinéad’s final release will be out in 2022, a final chance for fans to hear some new music.
