Sinead O’Connor fans are devasted to find that the deceased star’s memorial has been removed from outside her home in Bray.

The renowned singer-songwriter from Dublin rose to fame in the 90s and has since been a dearly beloved legend. She broke hearts everywhere when she passed aged 56 on July 26th in London.

The official cause of death is unknown and autopsy results are yet to be revealed, however, her passing is not being treated as suspicious.

Shortly after her passing, a memorial was created outside Sinead’s childhood home and became the focus of her mourning around the globe.

Amidst the tribute lay cards, flowers, stones with personal messages, and letters of condolence that were placed from over 6,000 people.

In recent news, fans of Sinead were shocked to discover that the shrine, including all of its keepsakes, had vanished with one person posting, “Where have all our mementoes gone? What harm were the tributes doing?”

To our relief, it has been reported to The Irish Sun that the tributes are being stored away safely in the hopes that they can be used to create a more permanent memorial for Sinead.

People have been taken aback by how promptly the shrine had been cleared away, almost like it happened overnight. According to sources of The Sun, it was uprooted with devotion and care, “I did hear from someone who saw it happen that it was lovingly done. In a gentle way.”

Someone took to Twitter with the idea of starting a GoFundMe page to aid in opening a museum to honour Sinead O’Connor, her music, and all of the causes she endorsed.
