The presenter has announced she will return to work on Monday after taking an extended maternity leave.
Taking to Instagram Sinead spoke about her wonderful time with her newborn and how she feels about going back to work, “We’ve had the most amazing first Christmas with Indie, spent loads of quality time together and with family. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for more.
“Back to studio @rtetoday on Monday after an extended break to soak up every magical moment with our little girl. It’s been so incredible to watch her grow these past few months, it’s time we’ll never get back and I’m lucky to have been in a position to take a step back.
“But it was never going to last forever so our new reality begins on Monday and I know @daithiose and I will have the craic so that’ll make the transition a whole lot easier. See you all on Monday @3.30 on @rteone then.”
The presenter and her husband Conor Kirwan welcomed their baby girl to the world at the end of March last year.
Sharing a snap at the time of her hubby carrying the baby out of the hospital, proud mum Sinead said, “Home a few days now and settling into life with the little one. Indie Kirwan is the most precious thing to have ever happened to us.”
“We’re overcome with happiness and and are feeling extremely grateful. We’ll love you forever baby girl.”
