Keith Duffy has shared a touching tribute along with stunning photos as his daughter Mia heads off to her debs.
The 18-year-old stunned in a green dress for the special occasion.
Sharing snaps of the exciting day, Keith said: “The love for your children is a driving force bigger and stronger than anything in this world, I’ve watched for 18 years this young lady do and achieve everything she wanted to, We never took ‘NO’ For an answer.”
“She fought and climbed every obstacle we only put her in the position She is a powerful woman and the world is a better place with her in it, She will not stop here The Sky is the limit!”
He added: “She’s so beautiful. I’m so happy for her!”
Mia, who was non-verbal until the age of seven, was diagnosed with autism many years ago but refused to allow it to get in the way of her life.
It’s been a busy year for the young girl, who not only graduated from Loreto College in Swords but was awarded Student of the Year.
This summer she also completed her Leaving Cert.
