Sharon Corr has split from her husband of 18 years, Gavin Bonnar.
The lead singer of hugely popular Irish band, The Corrs, married the Belfast man back in 2001, in a ceremony in Church of St John, Cratloe, Co Clare – but the pair have now made the decision to go their separate ways.
The couple share two children, Cathal and Flori, and a source close to the family has revealed that they remain the singer’s priority.
“[The relationship] ended by mutual agreement some time ago”, a source told The Irish Independent.
“Their children and their privacy are their number one priority.”
Since the split, barrister Gavin Bonnar has been linked with Telma Ortiz, the sister of the Queen of Spain – and have recently been pictured together at the Princess of Asturias awards in Spain.
