crack the case. They don’t think this victim will be the last.

As the body count rises, Oz suspects something even more sinister is at play. And the closer he gets to the truth, the more disturbed he becomes. Because this serial killer reminds him of someone dangerous: himself. He’s only just getting started.

Desperate to cross the front and save her sister, Meryn enlists in the army and is thrown into the deadly Bonding Trials, where any mistake will cost her life. Now Meryn must survive four months of training at the castle. She is bound to a feral direwolf who refuses to communicate. The other trainees would love to spill her common blood. Pip’s world is small. But it’s about to become a whole lot bigger. For years she’s tucked away her dreams, shrinking herself into the space left behind – like the delicate origami she creates alone in her room.

Then hope comes from an unlikely place: an astronomer from the local observatory. He teaches her to look up at the stars, and to see a world far bigger and more beautiful than she ever imagined. And perhaps in that big, beautiful universe there’s someone waiting for her. If she can find the courage to open her heart.

Pip never stopped dreaming, but now it’s time for her to live – and maybe even to fall in love.

She has sacrificed everything to make that a reality—her pride, her health, her love life, and most definitely her sanity. All to work with Professor Jacob Grimes at Cambridge, the greatest magician in the world—that is, until he dies in a magical accident that could possibly be her fault.

Grimes is now in Hell, and she’s going in after him. Because his recommendation could hold her very future in his now incorporeal hands, and even death is not going to stop the pursuit of her dreams. Nor will the fact that her rival, Peter Murdoch, has come to the same conclusion.

LA Women – Ella Berman

From the author of Reese’s Book Club Pick Before We Were Innocent comes an electrifying novel about the complicated friendship between two ambitious and talented female writers in 1960s Los Angeles and the ultimate artistic betrayal: one writes a book based on the other’s life.

Bold, dazzling, and crackling with tension, L.A. Women plunges readers into the legendary parties and unparalleled creativity of iconic Laurel Canyon, while exploring the impossible choices women face when ambition collides with intimacy. At what cost does great art emerge? And who pays the price?

Loosely inspired by the infamous Hollywood rivalry between Joan Didion and Eve Babitz, and perfect for fans of Taylor Jenkins Reid and Coco Mellors.

Such a Good Couple – Sophie White

Superstar husband, Hollywood mansion, stylist on speed-dial — Maggie’s life has never looked better. No one, not even Fionn (who’s usually in a different time zone), can tell how much she’s struggling.

Clara and Ollie spend most of their days shouting to each other from different rooms of their crowded home, but Clara thought they were mostly happy. Until she spots a text on Ollie’s phone that might blow their life up.

Their annual holiday brings the six friends — a tight gang for the past twenty years — together, each couple at breaking point. As the sunny days pass in the lap of luxury on Cape Cod, with champagne, secrets and harsh truths being spilled, they find they can’t hide their issues any longer. But when the first “it’s over” is uttered, can the other couples survive the fallout?
