Niall Horan’s dreams of reuniting with his former flame Selena Gomez have now been crushed, as the Kill ‘Em With Kindness singer has spoken out. She is “flattered” but unfortunately not interested in that way.
Speaking on air with 102.7 KISS FM earlier this week, Mullingar native Niall asked celebrity host Ryan Seacrest to “sort it out” between himself and his rumoured ex, and now Selena has responded.
Selena has been privately battling lupus recently, and doesn’t feel ready for a relationship just yet, as she’s still recovering. A source close to the former Disney star told HollywoodLife.com that “Selena is flattered by what Niall had to say to Ryan, but part of her recovery involves no serious relationships.
“In fact, for the time being she’s been advised not to date. Plus, dating is pretty much the last thing on her mind now. She is focused on herself and spending time with close friends.”
Poor Niall, but I’m sure there are plenty of ladies out there who are willing to mend his broken heart!
