They say good things come to those who wait, and that was certainly the case for Saoirse Ronan.
The Irish actress, who stars alongside Margot Robbie in the hotly anticipated movie, Mary Queen of Scots, reveals she signed up for the project years before filming actually began.
According to the Irish Independent, the 24-year-old said, “It was an honour, it was something I had waited about six years to do.
“I signed up to it when I was 18. Every year I would grow into it more and more. So finally, I have been able to put anything I had learned about her into action.”
Meanwhile, Hollywood star Margot Robbie recently sang Saoirse’s praise, calling her “a gem of a human.”
Margot recently gushed; “Saoirse is just the most boss actor there. It was such a great experience.”
The movie is set to be released in January 2019.
