Saoirse Ronan played a hilarious joke on Ed Sheeran last week, which left him with an interesting tattoo on his arm. The Brooklyn actress stars in the music video for Ed’s song Galway Girl, which was shot in Ireland last week.
During filming the Shape Of You singer wanted to have the title of the song written on his arm in Saoirse’s handwriting, but when it came to it the 23-year-old decided to have a laugh and write something a little different.
According to The Sun Ed told the crowd about the hilarious gag during a concert in Glasgow. “When we were filming it I meant to get a tattoo of her handwriting saying Galway Girl from her point of view.
“It actually says Galway Grill. G-R-I-L-L. She really took the p**s out of me — full on.
“I haven’t actually told anyone that yet. I’m actually quite proud of her. It’s the kind of thing I would do.”
Ed is no stranger to tattoos but we’re sure this isn’t one he was planning to add to his collection!
