Samantha Mumba has said that she finds it scary living in America following attacks like the one in Las Vegas.
The singer is living over in LA with her husband and their two-year-old daughter Sage.
“Living in America it’s such a shame and I think there are just so many positives in that country but there are things like the Vegas attack and laws that are in place that are nonsensical to me,” she told the Mirror.
“I’ve been to Vegas so many times and I think there was no sense to any of that it was horrendous, it’s scary, there’s no rhyme or reason to any of it.”
The 34-year-old revealed that she could see herself moving back to Ireland, to make sure her daughter feels safe.
“It’s lovely to know that I can always come home and that’s always an option and especially having a child now, before having her I would have been fearless.
“It’s more for her that I’d be like, Oh what’s the right thing to do, at some point I’ll be home, I’d like to have a more settled base here.”
Samantha has been keeping working on various tv and presenting gigs but says she has some exciting plans for 2018.
“Things are falling into place and I’ve a lot of stuff planned for next year but I can’t say much as in this industry things change but for now Sage is my priority,” she said.
She also revealed that she was no immediate plans to have more children and is happy being a mum-of-one.
“It’s not a thought for me at the moment, I’m just enjoying her and I can’t imagine having to share that with another child, if it happens it happens, I have my daughter.
“A lot of my friends who have multiple kids are like you have to do it now so that they’re close in age and I’m like give me a break.”
