Fans and friends flocked to the comment section to congratulate the star on her new role with one writing: “We love to see it!”
While Linda Nolan commented: “Amazing, can’t wait to watch.”
The murder mystery follows Dublin lecturer Harriet ‘Harry’ Wild (Jane Seymour) who has recently retired but can’t resist interfering in the police cases of her detective son.
Samantha will be joining Amy Huberman and a host of Irish stars for the new season after being greenlit for a follow-up series by US network AMC for its streaming service Acorn TV.
Speaking about the show’s success, AMC revealed it had become “the most successful series launch and most-watched season of any series on Acorn TV in 2022”.
“We knew this series was special from the beginning and could not be more thrilled by the response of Acorn TV viewers to this first season of Harry Wild,” said Matt Graham, General Manager of Acorn TV.
No more information has been revealed about the second season or Samantha’s character for that matter but if it’s anything like the first season we’re sure it’s going to be just as thrilling!
