Salma Hayek has revealed her love of Irish men, in particular Pierce Brosnan, Colin Farrell and Jim Sheridan.
The A-list star has worked alongside all three Irish men and she believes all three of them combined would make the perfect man.
The 50-year-old starred for director Jim Sheridan in 11th Hour, and alongside Pierce and Colin in After the Sunset and Ask the Dust respectively – but she can’t pick a favourite!
“I can’t [choose a favourite]. There you have three amazing men. Amazing. They’re the best. Very different from each other in so many ways, but all so wonderful. Imagine you put it all together, it’s perfect.” she told the Irish Sun.
“They are all my close friends. Pierce and I, we’ve been friends for many, many years. We’ve been on vacation together with our families, his wife and children, we’ve stayed with them in Hawaii.
“Since the first time we met, so loving and charming. A gentleman. Sincerely, really down to earth. He was Bond when we met, I thought there might be an attitude with that. I don’t think I know anyone who’s ever met him who didn’t like him.”
“They all have this same unaffected outlook. Colin, we worked together maybe ten years ago, more. He’s never changed. He’s so dedicated to the work and then maintains a sense of light always, lovely to be around. He’s always joking. He’s so fun.
“Same as Jim, always full of fun, but passionate, feisty . . . but he has this very profound sensibility. We always have so much to talk about.
“I have so much to talk about with all of them. And I love an Irish laugh so much. It’s really infectious. It makes you laugh.”
