Ryan Tubridy thanks the crew and kids who helped make the Toy Show happen

Friday night was a sigh of relief that everyone needed as the Late Late Toy Show aired.

Ryan Tubridy and the wonderful children on the show made us all smile as they showed off their favourite toys, sang, danced and had a few more surprises up their sleeve!

Ryan took to Instagram today to thank all involved posting an adorable picture of himself and the gorgeous Isabella, who got a wonderful surprise trip to Paris on the show.

He wrote, “Where to begin? With a big THANK YOU to the countless troops in the Toy Show army who soldiered tirelessly to make Friday happen.

“And to the most amazing children in the world for joining us and teaching us. And to all the passers by with kind words. Thanks everyone. Every child counts!”

An excellent job all round!

Another major surprise on the night was Ed Sheeran’s surprise appearance.

Ireland’s adopted pop star Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance on last night’s Late Late Toy Show.

Ed sang with the Toy Show choir as well as playing a game with Ryan and two children where they had to draw each other using their nose…

Ed is such a good sport we love to see it!

One of the children in the choir absolutely roasted Ed by telling him he doesn’t like his song Bad Habits, you’ve got to love kids with no filter!

It wasn’t the singer’s first time on the show but it was his first time watching it fully and he was absolutely loving it! Could be be a series regular now?

Twitter loved his appearance and low key personality, viewers shared their reactions online after the show.
