Ryan Tubridy has shared a heartfelt thanks to the people of Ireland, as the Late Late Toy Show charity appeal has surpassed €6million.
During Friday night’s show, RTE launched a fundraiser in a bid to help children’s charities across the country – and donations have been rolling in ever since.
Half of the money raised will go to three lead charities; Barnardo’s, Children’s Health Foundation and Children’s Books Ireland, while the remaining sum will be given as grants to various others.
As the figure of money raised continues to climb, Ryan Tubridy reveals he has been blown away by the generosity and can’t thank everybody enough.
Taking to social media, Ryan said, “To all the wonderful people behind the scenes, to all the children and to all of you who showed such kindness at such a difficult time, thank you from the bottom of my happy heart.”
