Ryan Tubridy recently released his first ever children’s novel, Patrick and the President, and he’s been receiving very positive reviews.
The book tells the story of a boy named Patrick and the time he met former US President John F. Kennedy on his 1963 Ireland trip.
There are many young fans of the colourful tale, including 6-year-old Zach O’Sullivan from county Meath, who kindly look some time out to write a handwritten review and send it to the broadcaster.
The youngster’s letter read, “To Mr Ryan Tubridy, I read your book Patrick and the President. You are a very good writer and Mr PJ Lynch is very good at drawing pictures.
“I really liked learning about President John F Kennedy from America. My Mammy said the man in the book looks like you. It’s the best book I have ever read apart from Histropedia.
“From Zach Sullivan aged 6 and a 1/2. PS. I love the Late Late Toy Show it’s the best.”
Ryan shared a pic of the letter on Instagram and alongside it wrote, “When book reviews go right…#HandwrittenLetters #KidsAreSmarterThanAdults.”
How sweet?
