It was announced earlier this month that Ryan Tubridy would not be stepping back into his RTÉ Radio 1 show.

The morning slot has now been rebranded as The Nine O’Clock Show with Oliver Callan currently hosting it.

Unsurprisingly, Ryan has chosen not to speak out in recent weeks.

But he took to Instagram to share a hopeful message.

He simply shared a video of the sea with the Irish coastline as the backdrop with Fleetwood Mac’s song, Don’t Stop soundtracking the clip.

“A new dawn, a new day, a new beginning. Stay tuned for more…” he captioned the video.

He was immediately met with warm comments from his colleagues and friends.

“There’s only one you,” Lucy Kennedy wrote with a series of blue love hearts.

“Onwards & upwards Keep her lit,” Pippa O’Connor added.

While Marissa Carter commented: “I hope you know how many people have been waiting, watching and wishing for good news for you Ryan.”

Kathryn Thomas and Maïa Dunphy left several love heart emojis in the comments.

While rumours are swirling about where Ryan could go next, it looks like he will be keeping his cards close to his chest.
