Ryan Tubridy announced in December that he was leaving Virgin Radio after two years with the broadcaster, following his move to the UK.
He launched his own YouTube show entitled The Late Show with Ryan Tubridy.

“Delighted to let you know that I’ll be presenting on Times Radio every Sunday between 1 and 4pm from 22nd March. The show will combine everything from politics and history to books and cinema. Dream job!” Ryan wrote on social media.
He urged people to download their app so they could tune into his new show.
“Normal business continues on The Bookshelf podcast (Season 5 in production) and on Onic every weekend. Two more apps worth downloading!

“The Bookshelf Live show at The Pavilion sold out in a hour and there’s a waiting list for tickets so we’re looking into further shows,” he went on to say, telling people to “standby” for more news.
“Most importantly, thanks to everybody for following, engaging and being sound,” he concluded.
His news comes ahead of his return to our TV screens as he is due to appear on the season finale of Virgin Media’s The Assembly.
Ryan Tubridy faces questions about his dating life, the RTÉ payment scandal, his favourite Late Late Show guests, his salary, his time hosting The Toy Show and his soul. He is even asked: if he had a magic button, what would he change about his past?
