The sun was shining for Ryan Andrews and Michaela O’Neill as they said “I do” in front of friends and family this weekend.
One of the benefits of tying the knot on the golden and glowy island of Mallorca in Spain.
Michaela was a beautiful bride in a white tuelle gown with floral embellishments, which she styled with a statement veil.
While Ryan looked dapper, opting for a black suit, with a crisp white shirt, black bowtie, and floral boutonnière.
Sharing a glimpse at their big day on Instagram, they simple wrote: “Mr & Mrs Andrews”
The pair did official marry during an intimate ceremony in Dublin, back in November 2022. So they’ve experience both the harsh Irish winters and the warm Mediterranean as they wed.
But both ceremonies was incredible special to Ryan and Michaela, with their winter wedding being held on the birthday of Michaela’s late father.
“The winter wedding here was one of the most magical days n my life, even though on the day itself I was very nervous, but it was great. This way, we can have a summer and a winter wedding, which is what we’ve always wanted,” Ryan previously told the RTÉ Guide.
The newlyweds received plenty of congratulations in the comment section.
Dancer Laura Nolan wrote: “You look gorgeous Michaela, congratulations to you both”
Presenter Mary Kennedy said: “Comhghairdeachas ó chroí Ryan and Michaela. Enjoy this special moment xx”
While Dancing With The Stars judge Arthur Gourounlian commented: “Gorgeous, congratulations”
Serving as groomsman at the wedding, was Ryan’s pal James Patrice. The pair have been close friends for years, starring in Pantos together, such as The Live Drive-In Park N Party. James even helped organise Ryan’s proposal in 2021.
Sharing his excitement at being a part of the wedding party, James wrote on Instagram: “Now not to be SOPPY gehrls but – I am FIERCE proud to stand beside this gentleman.”
“Its an honour to have Ryan in me life and it’s an even bigger honour to be a part of the most FABULOUS day of the year.”
They might be newlyweds, but Ryan and Michaela has much more history, as they start dating at 15-years-old and have known each other since they were 11-years-old.
Now grown-ups, the couple are living in perfect harmony, working together at their performing arts school, Stage Kids Academy, and living together.
They moved into their dream home in 2021, with Ryan telling VIP Magazine: “We’ve been together since we were about 15, and met each other when we were 11 but this is our first time living together. We’ve always been around each other. We’ve never spent a day apart. If you can go on holidays and there’s no trouble, you know you can live together [laughs]. Our relationship has grown so much since moving in together.”
With the actor confessing that “buying the house” was “for sure” their proudest moment at that point.
Saying: “Over the last couple of years, myself and Michaela would have been working three or four jobs at any given time, staying up until 2am getting things done, and that moment when we turned the key and walked in, made everything worthwhile. It’ll probably be up there as our proudest moment until the kids arrive.”
