Ruth Negga has revealed that she is thinking about having a family with Dominic Cooper.
The actress said that now that she is in a happy relationship she’s thought about having kids.
She also added that being in her mid-thirties also adds to the pressure.
“By the time you’re in a great relationship, it’s like, oh, I’m 35. S***,” she told Edit Magazine.
“So there is part of your thinking that is: ‘Do I want kids? When? If? How?’
The Irish-Ethiopian actress added that it is constantly on her mind.
“But it’s there, all the time, preoccupying me. And that’s not being an actor, it’s being a woman.
“I don’t know what [job] really creates a safe space for a woman to have time out, prolong the human race, and return to work in a very supportive way.”
Ruth is currently working with her actor boyfriend Dominic Cooper on Preacher.
The cast are working on the film in New Orleans and working long hours.
The actress said that she if grateful that she is with her other half.
“It would be so lonely if he wasn’t there,” she said.
“People say, ‘Never go out with an actor.’ But if you were with someone with a normal job, and one of you had to go away, how would that work?”
