Rugby star Tommy Bowe shares how baby number two helped with Ireland AM presenting

Former Ireland rugby legend, Tommy Bowe has shared how he has found being a father of two. The rugby star welcomed his second child with his wife Lucy Whitehouse earlier this year, a baby boy they called Jamie.

Speaking to VIP’s sister mag, TV Now he spoke about his new presenting role with Ireland AM and how baby number two helped him to get prepared.

“That’s one good thing, before the kids came along I couldn’t imagine getting up at the hour I am getting up at,” he shared.

“When kids come along you definitely get used to the lack of sleep and that definitely makes the job a lot easier but it has been good.”

“It has been a really busy year. Jamie, our son, came along, and he is going to be nine months in a few weeks time which is incredible.”

“This has been pretty chaotic for everybody but I certainly have some brilliant memories which I feel fortunate to take out of 2020.”

Tommy and his wife Lucy Whitehouse already have a little girl named Emma, who is two.
