Irish rugby star Simon Zebo has wed his childhood sweetheart Elvira Fernandez in a stunning Kerry ceremony.
The ceremony was intimate, with just 22 close friends and family in attendance.
The couple are childhood sweethearts, with the two meeting while Elvira was here in Ireland as a Spanish student studying in the country. Simon was 16 when they met in Cork and Elvira 15.
The two now have four beautiful children together, Seven-year-old Jacob, five-year-old Sofia, two-year-old Noah, and three-month-old Isabella.

Chatting about their ‘magical’ day, Simon told RSVP Magazine: “The day went brilliantly. We didn’t have the weather but we had an amazing photographer and videographer to capture the day.”
“It’s a very cosy hotel so the winter weather kind of added to the day in a sense, it was magical out there surrounded by the water.”

Despite the weather not being on their side, Simon said that the small group didn’t let that dampen their spirits, having the time of their lives regardless.
“We were up rapping and laughing, singing and dancing all night. It was just a fantastic night with all the closest people to us, we had a blast.”
Speaking about his highlight of the day, Simon says that heading back to their cottage for a sing-song was up there for him:
“We had a jam session there after some Guinness and it was amazing. My rapping skills went down a treat and a great night was had.”
Congratulations Simon and Elvira!
