Stefanie Preissner’s original comedy series Can’t Cope Won’t Cope has been picked up by BBC 3 in the UK. The show aired for the first time on RTE last September, and series two is currently in the works.
Can’t Cope Won’t Cope, starring Irish actors Amy Huberman and Seana Kerslake, centres on two young twenty-something’s Aisling and Danielle as they try to navigate their way through life in the fast-lane.
After moving from Cork to Dublin for work, the girls are ready for some fun. There is a lot of drinking, hangovers, shifting and all sorts of wild antics!
Speaking to RTE Entertainment show creator Stefanie expressed her excitement at the news of her show being available across the pond.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be able to bring the show to a bigger audience especially the Irish people in the UK who missed it.
“I’m in the middle of writing season 2 now which is a tricky process so this news is really spurring me in to make a cracking second season for RTÉ and the viewers,” she said.
Congratulations to all at the show!
