RTE weather presenter and Met Eireann Meteorologist Joanna Donnelly has responded to a stranger’s comment on twitter regarding her hair.
The weather woman, who has kept the country informed and updated during Storm Ophelia and Storm Emma in the past few months, shut down the troll who told her she needed a hair cut.
Joanna posted this picture to Twitter, speaking about the forecast heatwave set to hit Irish shores this week, when a male twitter user posted underneath ” You need a haircut Omg”
The meteorologists response was to shut down the comment, and make light of the unnecessary criticism.
“You send me the price of a haircut and I’ll allow you the opinion on the state of my hair 🙂 lol What is it recently everyone has something to say about my do!”
Joanna’s followers were loving her no nonsense response to the troll, with some commenting “Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant reply Jo,” As well as “In fairness, we don’t understand women’s hair cut prices in general life either. Madness”
