Ireland’s Fittest Family is returning to our screens this month.
The 12th season of the show was due to air in 2024, however, it was delayed after a tragedy.
The show was pulled from the air after the passing of 15-year-old Cillian Flaherty, who died in October just weeks before the series was set to air.
RTÉ confirmed that the 12th season will now air in January.
The show which usually airs on a Sunday has been moved to the Saturday slot as Dancing with the Stars will air in its usual schedule.
Ireland’s Fittest Family will air at 6:35pm on Saturdays in a new lineup, with the first episode airing on January 4th.
There’s an all-new Irish line-up on Saturday nights, which becomes the new destination for Ireland’s Fittest Family followed by a new season of The Young Offenders.
The Tommy Tiernan Show then returns with a new series of his show, where guests from all walks of life open up about their personal life and career experiences.
Dancing with the Stars returns on Sundays at 6:30pm with Room to Improve also making a comeback at 9:30pm.
Sure our weekends will be filled with such brilliant telly.
