Roz Purcell is known for her eco-warrior ways and she has used her social media platform to raise awareness about the environment.
So when she shared how she had spent her savings we weren’t surprised whatsoever.
She took to Instagram to hint that she had some big news before revealing that she had bought a forest with the money she had saved for a house deposit.
“So yeah I bought a forest so it wouldn’t get knocked down so I’m going to live in a tree house when I’m older,” she shared on social.
Roz captioned the video saying: “Forest tour? It’s not like a huge forest now. I’m not well off but I felt like I couldn’t not do it.
“Also hoping to rescue some woodland pigs to live their best life – I want name suggestions.”
Of course, Roz admitted that she felt really lucky that she was able to spend her money on buying a forest.
“Also very conscious that like clearly if I can spend my savings to buy a forest that I am not in dire need of a home I do live with my boyfriend,” she said.
“I do want to say that because I know there are people who are coming to my DMs like, ‘Well it’s well for some,’ and I totally get that.
“So I am just going to make a point of it now and say I am very lucky that I can spend my savings on protecting a woodland.”
She wrote: “I also have no rational mind and can’t say no to nature or animals. And I completely agree I am very lucky I can do that.”
We can’t wait to visit Roz’s forest!
