Rosanna Davison stepped out in style for The Platinum VIP Style Awards, with a dress that held a special meaning.

For Ireland’s most fashionable night out, the model supported a Ukrainian designer, wearing a stunning yellow gown from the brand Milla.

Explaining on the red carpet: “The dress is from a Ukrainian brand called Milla, so there’s a little bit of Ukraine here. I’m just delighted to be here, an afternoon and an evening off mummy duties. Everything is all hands on deck at home, but I think everyone’s in bed by now.”

Rosanna has a special connection to Ukraine as it is the home country of her surrogate for daughter Sophie, and where her daughter was born. Sophie is now three, while Rosanna’s sons Hugo and Oscar are two, and as they are getting bigger, the author has decided to jump back into her international career.

Rosanna revealed she will be heading to Germany in a few weeks, for her first work trip abroad in quite a while.

“I have my first work trip coming up in a few weeks to Germany, I have a manager over there and I had to say to them a couple of years ago, ‘there’s no way I can travel at the moment with the babies’ but a few weeks ago an opportunity came up to go to an event and I said: ‘yeah, why not? I can probably make it work at this stage’ It’ll be my first time on a plan in nearly two years,” she explained.

As for how she feels to see her kids growing up, the former Miss World said: “I still think of them as babies but they think they’re very grown up, Sophia’s three and a half, and the boys are two and a half so to me they’re still little, but they’re not really babies.”

“It’s busy and everything but its such a lovely stage because we’re able now to bring them out places, bring them out to restaurants and cafes, trying to get them used to eating at a table and that kind of thing, so its a nice stage to be in. They’re a little bit bigger, and more responsive than they were even six months ago.”
