Rosanna Davison is celebrating her twin son’s turning ten-months-old by sharing some insight into what it’s like being a mother of three children under the age of two.

Rosanna’s first born Sophia is about to turn 22 months on Tuesday, so it seemed like the perfect time to reflect before the milestone of two is hit.

The Instagram post was a series of photo’s of Rosanna and her children along with the insightful caption that read;

“Hugo and Oscar turned ten months yesterday and Sophia will be 22 months on Tuesday, so thought I’d share ten observations I’ve made from having three under two!

“1. It’s as noisy and intense and chaotic as it sounds. There’s generally food all over the floor (and on my clothes), somebody yelling, somebody trying to break into the snack cupboard and a nappy explosion that needs to be urgently dealt with!

“2. An adult per child in the house is ideal and maybe even an extra adult to help sterilise bottles and clean up spillages! A fifth adult to make cups of tea is the ultimate dream. My family has been an amazing help.

“3. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them all playing together in peaceful harmony, which does occasionally happen

“4. There are plenty of disagreements over the ownership of soothers – and frequent daylight robberies too.

“5. It takes us at least three hours to leave the house with them once they’re all fed, changed and we’ve packed up the car. But we make it out on walks most days.

“6. Everything you need to do must be squeezed into nap time, that sacred 1-2 hours when silence descends. Work, gym, housework, food prep. Nothing much gets done when they’re all awake and I’ve become useless at getting back to messages.

“7. Quickest way to cheer up a room of cranky small children is to pull silly faces and sing badly.

“8. I feel like we’re running a catering company at home, serving up meals, snacks, beakers and bottles all day long. And toddlers really love their snacks! Though none have a night feed anymore.

“9. Teething has been a cause of such pain and discomfort for the twins for months. But for Sophia, we barely noticed her teeth emerging and there was hardly any drama! Wonder if girls really do just have a higher pain threshold?

“10. It’s three times the love and cuddles. As I’ve said before, everything is just a phase and we used to find it overwhelming to be outnumbered by little people, but it’s all started to become easier as we’ve really got to know their individual personalities.”

Talk about supermum!

Rosanna handles it all as it’s thrown at her and we love how real she is about the not-so-glam parts of motherhood.

Pippa O’Connor agrees with this as she commented on the post, “You are amazing #superwoman”.
