Robbie Williams has revealed that the best party he’s ever been to in Ireland was in Bono’s house.
The She’s the One singer recalled details of a wild night spent at the rock legend’s house at a press conference yesterday, where he revealed he would be taking The Heavy Entertainment Show to Dublin’s Aviva stadium on the 17th of June 2017.
The British singer is well known for his party lifestyle, and when asked about his favourite Irish party, he revealed the best Irish party he’d been at was at Bono’s mansion – when he was a little worse for wear!
Robbie recalled partying too hard at Bono’s Dalkey home and ending up confusing a window for a painting.
“There was a great time when I was here in Bono’s house, it was late and I was elsewhere looking at one of Bono’s paintings and I was like ‘Bono, this is one of the best paintings I’ve ever seen'” he said.
“And Bono replied ‘Robbie, that’s the window’.”
The outspoken singer went on to say that people in Ireland have a fonder appreciation for him than in other countries.
“People seem to have taken me to their heart in Ireland more than most, maybe it’s because I’m f*****g great!” he said.
